Consent for participation in the SCORE private weather station network initiative
Please read the following information carefully and tick the box below. This form is to assess the site suitability of your property for our sensors as part of the SCORE Project, funded by the European Commission (EUC) Grant Agreement 101003534. If you wish to apply for several types of sensors, we ask that you select the appropriate map (see related maps for weather station, outdoor air quality kit, or indoor air quality kit) and complete the form multiple times. We are collecting this information as part of our data quality assurance. During this project, we wish to inform you that the information collected from these sensors will be made available to other citizen scientists through the SCORE Coastal City Living Labs Sensors Map (pilot website: https://sensors.score-eu-project.eu/map/). If you choose to withdraw your application, or recall your station at any time, please email us at score@ucd.ie. We will continuously post updates about our project on our website: https://score-eu-project.eu/ and our social media. Based on the above, I agree that: The proposed location of the sensor must be within the eligible pilot area only. I have been given sufficient information about the initiative. I have had an opportunity to ask questions about the initiative and project. I understand that my participation is voluntary and that I am free to withdraw, or refuse to answer questions at any time without giving a reason and without penalty. I am willing to take part in the project. I am aware that my name and email is being recorded, and will be kept internal to UCD and GDPR compliant. If selected for hosting a sensor you will need to register it and create an account in weatherunderground.com and smartcitizen.me, accepting their specific terms of use and privacy policy. I am aware that data emerging from the project may be anonymously used as the basis for subsequent studies. If you choose not to participate, please exit this page now, and no data will be collected.
